Question 2: Where might a trailer be seen? How will different formats affect the viewing of the trailer?

Many different media platforms enable people to view trailers, this includes, cinemas, dvd's, youtube, and television channels. Platforms such as YouTube allows you to search for the specific trailer rather than being forced  to watch it on the TV, in the cinema or before a film starts on DVD/Blu-ray. Depending on the format, the viewing of the trailer could be affected, this is due to the option to chose whether or not to want to view the trailer. A spectator could have a different opinion on the trailer if they did not have the choice to watch it, for example they are watching their favourite series on tv, while the break is on their could be 2 or 3 trailers shown and the viewer could easily walk out if they are bored whereas in a cinema, it is a popular notion that the first showings are of trailer so the spectators are expecting it, same as the youtube viewing.
